Wow! I really loved the movie Beloved Friend Amic/Amat. The movie is absolutely stunning with top-notch graphics and visuals while Mario Gas deliver some award-winning performances in this movie.

I also think Josep Maria Pou was great! The visuals and graphics make for some very realistic on screen special-effects but that is the beauty of the movie.When the movie wants to be funny it is funny, the same is true for when the movie needs to deliver its scary aspects.

I think Mario Gas and Josep Maria Pou worked wonderful in Beloved Friend Amic/Amat. The great supporting cast includes Mario Gas, Josep Maria Pou, Rosa Mara Sard, David Selvas, Sergi Dauder.

Summary of Beloved Friend Amic/Amat:

This impassioned, insightful drama from Spain tells an emotional story in which love and hate, friendship, life and death are all weighed in generous proportions.

Jaume Clara, a brilliant and accomplished professor of medieval literature, should be enjoying the fruits of a life of hard work and achievement, but he is beset with failing health and distraught over a passionate fixation on his beautiful, intelligent but withdrawn student, David. When a response to an anonymous call-boy`s ad unexpectedly brings David to his door, Jaume forgoes the tempting opportunity for easy sex with his student and instead hatches an elaborate and dangerous plot to manifest his deep love, one which risks his career, his friendship with a beloved colleague, and the possibility of cruelty and violence at the hands of heartless David.
