Wow! I really loved the movie Buck and the Preacher. The movie is absolutely stunning with top-notch graphics and visuals while Harry Belafonte deliver some award-winning performances in this movie.

I also think Tony Brubaker was great! The visuals and graphics make for some very realistic on screen special-effects but that is the beauty of the movie.When the movie wants to be funny it is funny, the same is true for when the movie needs to deliver its scary aspects.

I think Harry Belafonte and Tony Brubaker worked wonderful in Buck and the Preacher. The great supporting cast includes Harry Belafonte, Tony Brubaker, Ruby Dee, Lynn Hamilton, Dennis Hines.

You should see it, make no mistake this is a definite blockbuster!

Summary of Buck and the Preacher:

Sidney Poitier made his directing debut with this 1972 action comedy with an edge to it. Made at the height of the Black Power movement in America, the film has an unmistakable militancy in its story of a wagon-train guide and a con man who team up to throw a posse of white nightriders off the trail of escaped slaves. Poitier has never been a distinctive filmmaker, and Buck and the Preacher certainly doesn't indicate any early signs of raw talent that later went undeveloped. But the film's energy and sense of fun, hand in hand with the suggestively political zing, make it watchable. --Tom Keogh
